On Monday 29 November, HMRC confirmed that it will be giving customers who currently receive HMRC benefits into a Post Office card account (POca) until 5 April 2022 to switch to using a bank account for these benefits.
The arrangement between HMRC and Post Office Ltd was scheduled to end today (30 November) – but a one-off extension has been arranged to give the 13,000 customers who have not yet switched accounts the ability to continue receiving payments via POca.
